We have recently staged two very successful ‘Gastroscopy days’ at Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic.  Gastroscopy (looking into the horse’s stomach with a long flexible camera) is currently the only way of diagnosing Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome (EGUS).

To help with the initial diagnosis our Gastroscopy Day offers a gastroscopy, carried out at our clinic, for the fantastic price of £170 incl. VAT.  This can include an overnight stay at the clinic and sedation. 

The days are incredibly popular and places are limited so early booking is recommended.  We will announce the next date via our website and social media.

 

EGUS is commonly present alongside other medical problems, such as orthopaedic disease and lameness.  If gastric disease is diagnosed at one of our Gastroscopy Days our clinic offers a convenient location to assess and investigate any other potential issues.

 

Please note the offer is only open to those horses who have not been ‘scoped by us before and who are currently not on any treatment for gastric ulcers.
