Having grown up in France, Carolyn studied Equine Science at Bristol University before fulfilling her lifelong ambition to go to vet school. After five years completing her veterinary degree in chilly Edinburgh, she moved to sunny California to work for the largest equine hospital on the West Coast. Sadly there was not much time for soaking up the sun as Carolyn spent most of her days and nights either in colic surgery or nursing sick foals! She returned to the UK to join Catley Cross in October 2010. Carolyn’s particular interests are internal medicine, ultrasonography and foal care.
Carolyn and husband Simon have just added a new member to their family- Elizabeth. Life will be very busy keeping up with toddler Annabelle and a baby and so Carolyn is on maternity leave for a while but will be back towards the end of 2019. Outside of work Carolyn enjoys walking her dog Edward, looking after ponies Cachou and Gizmo and socialising with friends.
