Microchipping protects your pet should they get lost. A tiny chip is inserted into the skin at the back of the neck, this chip containing a unique code for your pet is stored on a database along with your details and can be accessed 24 hours a day. All vets, rescue centres and dog wardens have scanners that can read this code. It is imperative that your contact details remain up to date, to ensure that you can always be matched to your pets code.
We recommend that all animals are microchipped – we even have mini chips to implant into reptiles and birds.
**6th April 2016 saw a requirement by law that all dogs over 8 weeks old must be microchipped.**
The cost for microchipping your dog or cat is £16.00.
